Aroma Di Amore returns on vinyl. 10 previously unreleased tracks on a dark red LP. After the succes of the 2xcd Onverdeeld it’s time to unearth some unheard Aroma tracks. Elvis Peeters, Fred Angst & Lo Meulen have selected 9 tracks from their archives and added one new song. Hartslag was recorded at Trixx in Februari 2010 and is a cover of Heartbeat by the post-punk band Wire. Most of the unreleased tracks (Snoep Voor Jou, Bewegende Beelden,..) were recorded during rehearsels and are excellent examples of their potential as new wave band & songcrafters. There are also some alternate version of well-known Aroma songs on Ongehoord. The track Moeder Gaat Neer is the version they played on the Rock Rally competition way before it was released on “De Sfeer Van Grote Dagen”.
Comes with a doublesided insert. Released in an Edition of 550 lps.

Founded by Bart Azijn (words), guitarist Patric M (guitars) and the enigmatic Edgar on synths, Aimless Device was a Leuven-based band that, between 1985 and 1989, coupled a synth- and drum machines-driven sound with bona fide rock guitars. Their first mini-album, ‘Hard To Be Nice’ (1985) was a modest success, and with ‘World Of Coats’ (1986) and ‘Dog Days’ (1987), the band toured Germany, France and Spain. After the release of the ‘Mud In Your Eye’ EP (1988) the band threw in the towel when their record label folded. The ‘Coats Of Many Colours’ CD includes all officially released material and two bonuses: Bad Times Ahead, a track that first appeared on the compilation-LP ‘From Behind The Bushes’ and Cry, one of the last songs the band recorded.
Released in an edition of 600.

The Misz – Eddy Merckz

Beside the usual noise- and experimental-projects there were also great new-wave-bands like The Misz. Eddy Merckz is a good example for the extreme high quality of the 80′s cassette-culture-scene. Their very catchy sound is comparable to early Virgin Prunes with some more pop-appeal; fine harmonies and male/female singer made this band to remarkable milestone in european new-wave, although they unfortunately never reached a bigger audience. “Eddy Merckz” is in my eyes their best work: politics and music found together…”
Released in an edition of 300 Lps. Includes a doublesided insert. The first 69 copies will include a yellow printed insert with a picture of Belgians greatest cycler Eddy Merckz.

Aroma Di Amore – Onverdeeld

Ignored by the mass, loved by the underground, never simple always unique. For many years now they’re considered to be thé cult group of Flanders & after 5 years of silence around the band, it’s time to write another chapter in the big Aroma-book.
On their first release in 16 (!) years, the history of the band is being captured in 47 tracks. On the 12th of december Aroma Di Amore will perform @ Het Depot where the release will be presented. Carried by a deep bass, typical cold new wave drums, biting guitar riffs and a shamanic voice they make about the most original music of their generation. Aroma di Amore makes subtle as well as raw songs with the occasional flavor of absolute madness. Through the years, bass-players, a saxophonist and lots of other musicians come and go. The core of the band consists of Fred Angst on guitar, Lo Meulen on bass & Elvis Peeters behind the mic. The double disc set “Onverdeeld” is an anthology of more than a quarter century of musical output. The two discs contain almost all of the tracks that ever appeared on LP, completed by a few live-tracks and 4 unreleased songs. The booklet of 16 pages immerses you in the smell of love. With pictures by Eric Didden, an extensive biography and the extraordinary lyrics by Elvis Peeters. In 2010 a limited LP will follow with never before released tracks. The presentation of the cd will take place on the 12th of december at “Het Depot” in Leuven. Enfant Terrible Luc Van Acker will warm-up the audience. On the 19th of december Aroma di Amore will perform at the BIM-festival joined by Crash Course In Science & Red Zebra.
Kuruki – TV Scape

With their first single “Crocodile Tears” they almost conquered the world, but they rather maintained their personality & their credibility than to repeat the same old trick endlessly. The past 30 years Kuruki’s first and only full LP “TV Scape” could only be found in the record collection of collectors with a preference for minimal synth & synth-pop. Untill Now.
Kuruki was a Belgian minimal synth-pop band project spearheaded by Ghent-based musician Gerry D’Haeyer and Alain Bureau. The band was founded early 1980’s and shortly after it’s conception a first release was recorded. The single “Crocodile tears” immediately hit the charts and became a hit. Afterwards the band released 12 inches including maxi single “Such a liar”. After intensive touring a new single “Just a cat” was spawned in 1983. As a live band at that time Alan Gevaert, from dEUS, and Chris Whitley joined them. Live, Kuruki put down a mysterious act, with a lot of colour & show elements. In 1984 The final release Tv Scape, a full LP, was released. On this record the last pieces of the puzzle fitted together. On an accurately crafted structure of frivolous minimal electronics Sally Joy & Monsieur Tic sang about an era wherein alienation & mass consumption are an everyday routine & television offers the ideal escape. TV (e)Scape. Released in an edition of 500 Lps
